Editorial Policy
How technical notes move from a private draft to a public article.
What we publish
Code Mill Hub publishes backend engineering notes built around a specific problem, decision, failure boundary, or version change. Articles explain when an approach applies, how it can fail, and what a reader should verify in their own environment.
Drafting and review
Automation may create drafts or assist with structure and editing. Drafts remain private by default. Before publication, an article is deliberately marked for release and reviewed for a clear problem statement, internally consistent examples, unsupported claims, useful limitations, working internal links, and references to primary sources where available.
Sources and evidence
Articles distinguish implementation experience from illustrative examples and proposed improvements. Version-sensitive claims link to official project documentation or release material. Measurements are included only when their setup and meaning can be explained. A code sample is not presented as a complete production implementation when it omits an important operational boundary.
Corrections and revisions
Published articles may be updated when a technical claim, version, example, or explanation needs correction. Each article links to its source and revision history on GitHub so the change can be inspected. To report a problem, follow that source link and open an issue or propose a change in the Code Mill Hub repository.
